Public Prosecutor's office ia a judicial authority indipendent from courts
and executive authority. Acts united and undivided and has as a mission the
maintenance of legitimacy, the defence of the citizens and the preservation of
the rules of public order. P.P. during the execution of his duties and the
expression of his opinion,acts under no obligation obeying only to the law and
his conscience. Superior in the hierarchy is the P.P. of the Supreme Court and
follows the grade of deputy P.P. of the Supreme Court, of the Appeal Court etc.
The consitution supplies as the regular judges the same quarantees of
indipendence, as well as the P.P's who are appointed for life as judicial
officials.
